Secondly, the case study focuses on the security purposes of the restaurant for the better arranged and to become successful.
INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The Orishas Restaurant and Karaoke Rooms is a family owned by Jocelyn Cinco Tsunoda with six months of existence which is located in Block 1 Lot 6 C. Highview Homes Congressional Rd. at Bagumbong Caloocan City. It is a casual fine-dining restaurant with a child friendly and family-oriented ambiance that suits their taste buds of the guest of an ages, that serves mouth-watering Asian cuisine and give good quality service yet affordable.
The restaurant transaction process is based on traditional or manual form. They just need to take and write the orders of the guest upon billing out. They will calculate the total amount of the guest’s order and send it to the guest for payment.
At the end of the day, they calculate their daily sales manually and put it in the silver box with padlock to secure their money.
SIGNIFICANT OF THE STUDY / RATIONALE
The proposed Point Of Sale (POS) is designed for the benefits of Orishas Restaurant. The significance of this study is to improve the fast transaction in terms of efficient and updated sales transaction and customer’s satisfaction. This will ensure the increase of sales if the Orishas Restaurant will implement this kind of system. This will be beneficial both for the owner and customer

“How can the proponents develop or design the Point of Sale (POS) and able to apply and use in their restaurant?”
Minor Statement:
“How will proponents develop or design the Point of Sale (POS) for product information in terms of increase of sales and customer satisfaction.”
OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY
General Objectives:
“To be able to construct and create Point Of Sale (POS) that will help the owner and the management for fast services efficient sale transaction and customer service satisfaction.
Specific Objectives:
“To be able to create a manual handbook that would facilitate the owner to be efficient in any transaction and be able to meet the customer’s satisfaction.”
SCOPE AND CONSTRAINTS
Delivery Transaction
In this form, the user can add, save and update the item or product and also they need to have a contact person to the certain firm. In case of
emergency, for example: during the operating period they encounter a problem that cost a product return; they know the contact person who is in-charge to the transaction.
Security
Point Of Sale contains security in terms of passwords and username. Likewise have a log form to monitor every employee who will use our Point Of Sale (POS) during the time interval. If the employee leaves the system and in case the user forgets to log-out, the system will automatically log-out so that it will prevent the security in every transaction that they have.
