Children should never be educated at home by their parents

They say parents are the best teachers. However, I strongly believe that children should at no time be educated at home. To start with, no matter how well-designed the home lessons are, this curriculum will never be nationally recognized as a part of an official level of accreditation. No homeschooling program can fully provide a student with highly qualified tutors and verified examination. That is why the government cannot accept it as an approved teaching system. In addition to this, homeschooling costs a lot. Parents who decided to teach their children by themselves tend to spend a fortune on books, private tutors and other materials needed to provide their children with decent education. Surprisingly, most homeschooling families believe that the brief loss of income is well worth the satisfaction of watching their kids grow and learn in freedom. Apart from this, teaching your child at home can cause serious emotional problems while facing all those stresses and arguments.

You as a teacher not only have to prepare lessons on every subject, but you also need to have researched each topic enough to feel comfortable answering questions your child may have. Not to mention the fact that you need to know how to organize a lesson itself and present the material qualifiedly. This is a huge amount of work that if done incorrectly can result in bad relationships between you and your child. On the other hand, homeschooling gives students educational freedom. Most homeschooled students have the choice to study and learn what they want, when they want and for as long as they want. Although the government has some specific restrictions and requirements to control this process, it does not prevent those children from making the most of the subjects they like. Besides, homeschooled children usually sleep well.

It is a well-known fact that sleep is vital to the emotional and physical well-being of kids and teens. The effects of early morning classes can be devastating to many children, especially those ones who are not early birds. The absence of the strict schedule gives them a possibility to renovate the balance of power after long and tiring days and consequently study better. To conclude, I strongly believe that schooling at home means living outside the norm. In my opinion, it does not fit in our modern society of introversion, interaction and team work. Homeschooling requires a lot of emotional and financial spending that not anyone can afford. This is why it seems to me that children should never be educated at home by their parents.

The way I see it is that it is a worthless waste of time that can completely ruin the life of a child. Private universities and colleges differ from public schools in more than how they are funded. They are often smaller and quieter. At present, private school students are faring much better academically than are their public school counterparts. This reflects several factors. Parents of private school students tend to be more involved in their children’s education. Private schools have considerable freedom from government interference. The benefits of smaller classes are now widely acknowledged. Few education issues have been studied more than the effect of class size on student achievement. Better discipline

Private schools still retain, however, the limitations that are intrinsic to the classroom method of instruction. The teachers still lack flexibility with regard to the pace of class instruction.
