Many things are happening right now on our earth. For instance we are dealing with global warming, loss of freshwater, Ebola outbreak and last but not least over population. Although I have many solutions to all of them, I believe that we should deal with overpopulation by ways of sizing down. I propose that we use labour camps to effectively do thi Every country must have at least one labour camp to cut down on population, but countries with more people must have more camps. The camps will target no specific group or people, they will be randomly selected with a lottery system done by your country. The amount of camps is also determined by how effective it is at culling the population. For instance if a camp can shrink the size of the population by 100,000 people a month, then the country will need less camps because this one is very efficient.

There are many benefits to labour camps, for instance they can help with the countries wealth. For instance a mining labour camp is very good because the country can get free ore from the labourers because they don’t have to pay their workers. The implications are limitless because there are a vast amount of options that a labour camp can do. Some of many examples are mining camps, farming camps, forestry camps, and fishery camps. There are also a vast amounts of manufacturing camps that could be produced, from military to commercial.

I believe that camps should be able to hold no less than 50,000 people have 50 sleeping quarter houses that hold 1000 people, 1-2 offices, 2 shower houses that hold 100 people each, and 2-3 guard houses that hold 1000 guards each. 1 mess that hold 1000 labourers, and 1 staff mess that holds 100 people. Depending on the type of camp a tool shed or room. The camp should be set up with 3 rows of barbed wire fence and guard towers on the four corners of the camp as well as in the middle of the camp. If the camp happens to be more than 5km square the guard towers must be closer together and there needs to be more of them. Once you have your population down to around 40 million people you do not have to send the people in your country to labour camps.
