Order NowSince the start of this century, there had been a lot of debates about how is now the security in the world. Many people think that the world is an increasingly dangerous place to live in, while others think the other way around. Nonetheless, in my opinion the world is not an increasingly dangerous place to live in because now there is more technology, better health conditions, and education. To start with, the actual world is surrounded by technology, which brought a lot of great changes to our lives. Most of these changes contribute to making our life more secure and convenient. For instance, thanks to the technology, there are cameras everywhere, making the city, for example, more secure and always ready to act if there is any act of theft. In addition, there are cell phones and GPS, which help you to find a place without any problem, or to be always in touch with someone. As a result, mothers, for example, do not have problems in connecting with their children.
Throughout surveys, experts point out and deduce that since the development of technology cities are more secure and that there are more people in the streets walking with confidence. Secondly, statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO) show that throughout these years the mortality rate decreased, showing that there is better health issues. For instance, since when people die because of a small cold? Not any more, the improvement in health care has increased life expectancy. We can say this, because scientifics hold that there is a cure to most of all diseases, so to be sick, for example, is not dangerous. To be frightened, would have no sense, since, as I said, the diseases are controllable, making our life less dangerous. Thirdly, education has improved radically in many countries.
This is a great thing to happen, since it helps to develop the countries and prevents delinquency. This happens because education provides opportunities in the future; for instance, work, since if you have done all school, you can go to college and receive a college degree and have more chances of having a better job, faster. Furthermore it keeps people away from robbery, as they learn the laws, for example, and can know what is wrong and what is not. It is one of the best ways to get young adults out of streets and interest them in their future. Sigmund Jones, a sociologist, had done a research and found out that as a result of a more educated population, the streets are more secure and more people are searching for jobs. This tells us what a difference education makes in the communities, making them more secure. Taking these points into consideration, I would say that the world is not increasingly dangerous. Needless to say, the development of technology, the better health conditions and the implementation of more education make an incredible good difference in the world. While these persist, the world will remain great as it is now and better.
