It is just plain lazy. Also, people wouldn’t have their brains full of junk that’s shown on television. Another big reason that the absence of television would be good is that the violence is just so abundant it is ridiculous.
There are some reasons that no television would be bad. There are a lot of educational television channels, such as the Discovery Channel, A&E, and the History Channel. There are also some educational television shows that I love to watch, like Law and Order and CSI. Another thing that I find is a very important aspect of television is the speed of news travel. The radio and print does transport news, but I think that television does it best. We can actually see what is going on exactly when it is going on.
Over all, I think that the negative and positive aspects of television even out in the long run.
