Order NowMr.. Hayes The Greatest Paper Ever The movie North By Northwest by Alfred Hitchcock was interesting to watch. It had a good story line because it had an element of mystery and surprise. Originally, I had thought that one of the guys in the mob was the secret agent but it turned out it was the woman. The way she interacted with the people in the mob led me to believe she was not the secret agent. What stood out to me the most was the way they tried to murder Roger
Thrill by pouring a bottle of bourbon down his throat, throwing him in a stolen car and driving him off a cliff. That is very creative and cool. I was happy to see he escaped though he gets buckets. This is good because he was just a regular guy who got mistaken as a international spy and it would be really unfair if he died so soon. I feel like this movie doesn’t have much depth after that. It really doesn’t strike me as a great movie to write about.
The plot was interesting and it had never been done before because it was made in 1950. I can respect the innovation. However, I have seen so many movies similar to this that it was predictable. The arguments in the movie were funny. It was shocking that they said things as blatantly as they did. Never realized they were so inappropriate back in the sass’s, wow. The actors were pretty good but the animation sucked. Although, it was probably the most advanced technology hey had during the time the movie was made.
Overall, I liked it but it didn’t move me. It was good for it’s time but I have definitely seen more interesting movies before. I only watch comedies anyways. I enjoyed watching this film because it gave me insight into a different time period of movie making and thrillers. It is hard to say how I feel about this because I am conflicted.
