In addition, managers can also interact with people who have a different view.
Emotional Intelligence Skills
This skill allows a manager to solve a problem smoothly. It able to move the negative to positive emotions. These skills can also foster a humanitarian nature, generate creativity and also can affect other people. So that, the work environment will be more cheerful and indirectly it will further enhance the motivation of each employee.
Interpersonal Skills
These skills are referring to the ability of manager to work, understand and motivate all staff either individually or group. This situation can exist a good atmosphere continuously in organization. These skills also are very effective in the management. Staff can feel that they are be appreciated because the entire task that they are have done get the attention of manager.
Cognitive Skills
Cognitive skills are an essential skill for a manager. This skill allows a manager to give an opinion, understanding, remembering things that happened in their respective environment. CONCEPTUAL SKILLS
One skill that we choose for leadership training is conceptual skills. The term “conceptual skills” refers to the aptitude that people have to formulate ideas. Such skills include thinking creatively, formulating abstractions, analyzing complex situations, understanding issues and solving problems. In the business world, these skills are considered an integral requirement for executives in top-level management positions. Conceptual skills are different from technical skills and human skills. All three types of skills play important roles in certain situations or for certain purposes, but conceptual skills heave the broadest application because they can pertain to virtually anything.
Conceptual skills involve knowing how to and being able to formulate ideas. Individuals who have strong conceptual skills typically have excellent cognitive abilities to think creatively and solve problems. In a business environment, someone who has these skills might come up with an idea for a new product or a new process. He or she is able to examine a complex issue and formulate a specific, effective course of action.
People who have conceptual skills can examine how ideas are interrelated. They effectively perceive individual elements in relationship to the whole. People who have strong conceptual skills are often identified as effective leaders or managers. This generally is because of their ability to understand the organization as a whole and develop creative strategies. Top-level managers often need to have technical skills and human skills in addition to conceptual skills.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Conceptual Skills allow a manager to visualize the entire organization and work with ideas and the relationships between abstract concepts. Top managers rely mostly on conceptual skills, but they use significant human skills as well. Remember, though, they need technical skills to set a strategy that makes sense for the organization. Activity 1 – Ice Breakers
The Little Known Fact: Ask participants to share their name, department or role in the organization, length of service, and one little known fact about themselves. This “little known fact” becomes a humanizing element that can help break down differences such as grade/status in future interaction. Activity 2 – Save our Soul (S.O.S)

Synopsis: An event occurs when the ship struck a rock which caused a major leak that would cause the ship to be sunk. Unfortunately there was only a lifeboat shall be used. 100 passengers, 10 passengers lifeboat, how to make decisions.

Duration:1 hour 30 minutes
Conformance To: Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Effective Communication Synopsis:Stranded on an uninhabited island with only one thing in common only to be used to save you over 30 days is stranded on an island. Imagine if you only have a few coins only keeping, what can be done by you of these coins?
Activity 4 – Roller Coaster Project

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Conformance To:Teamwork, Creative Thinking, Strategic Management Synopsis: Build a mega project is not easy without good planning, creativity and cooperation of the members of the group. However, if done effectively it must satisfy and fun.

Synopsis: 5 groups, 5 rounds, the stock market is very active, economic fluctuations, but risk must be taken as well. Blue and red stock market is risky, the decision to make an investment with a certain amount of risk to provide investors in the event of a loss that may lead them to bankruptcy.
