Canadian Colleges and program types

The biggest difference from an academic master’s is that they include internships or co-ops instead of writing a thesis and aim to train specialists practically in their fields. Postgraduate programs can be 1 or 2 years and it is possible to find PG programs in almost every field. Work permits at Canadian Colleges

Foreign students who are educated in colleges have 20 hours of work permit per week. If your program includes a co-op or full-time internship period, you should also apply for a co-op work permit. In Canada, postgraduate work permit applications can be applied for up to 1 year after training up to 1 year, and up to 3 years after training for 2 years and longer.

Annual costs of colleges

Although the fees to be paid for foreign students vary according to the college and program, this fee is in the range of 15-17 thousand CAD per year when education-health insurance and other school-related expenses are collected in many schools.
