Acid Rain Lab Report

Unpolluted rain is normally slightly acidic, with a pH of 5.6. Carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere dissolves to form carbonic acid. Acid rain is rain that has been made acidic by certain pollutants in the air. Acid rain is a type of acid deposition, which can appear in many forms. Wet deposition is rain, sleet, snow, or fog that has become more acidic than normal. Dry deposition is another form of acid deposition, and this is when gases and dust particles become acidic. Both wet and dry deposition can be carried by the wind, sometimes for very long distances. Acid deposition in wet and dry forms falls on buildings, cars, and trees and can make lakes acidic. Acid deposition in dry form can be inhaled by people and can cause health problems in some people. -purpose of the lab

Description of experiment
Write name and group # on tape then put tape on test tube
Use draper put 7ml water and 7ml acid rain in test tube
Put PH paper in water & acid rain then compare with Ph scale Finally put plants in both tube

If put acid rain on plant then the plant will die.

Yes, it is. Because acid rain can kill plants
Use data support your finding
If we put acid rain in plant then the plant’s leaf & stem will more and more weak then become die. Analysis question as part of conclusion paragraph. From the data we can see acid rain is no good for plants and i think it is also no more good things for any organism, it just can make plants die same as when organism with out water. Acid rain produce is when atmosphere environment become bad and pollute, so if we want stop acid rain we should stop pollute first. Identify possible improvements for next trial?

I think we should doing more careful about numbers hope not happen like this time (just because too less water in water tube. all plants in water tube were died) What have you learned and what future experiments could add to these findings?
