Order NowAfter taking the survey at the end of the article I found that I have quit a few very important responses when it comes to my decision making in relationship to education, ministry opportunities, career choices, or other major decisions. Personally I found that I answered that it is very important to me when using common sense in making major decisions in my life. Another area that I feel it is very important is to consider the circumstances. I feel it is very important to always look for open doors and windows of opportunity in order to advance in ones career or education. I feel it is very important to consult with wise counsel when making major decisions in life. There are going to be times in my life that I may feel uncertain about a decision I am making, but there may be someone around me who has been through a similar situation and may good insight into what direction is best. I feel that it is very important to pray for the wisdom in making godly decisions. There may be times when I am uncertain of the decisions I am making and there is no wise counsel around me to ask.
In this situation I think then it is very important to ask God for direction and guidance in making the decision. Looking for signs of confirmation from God is also very important to me, because it means that I am doing what is in accordance to Gods plan for me. Considering ones personal strengths, talents, gifts, and abilities is of such big importance when considering choices n one’s life. If we do not have the ability or the talent to carry out what we have decided to do, then we might fail at it. Praying for specific guidance or answers from God is also very important to me as well. There may be times when I feel as though I should make one decision but feel that I will not succeed in it because I feel I do not have the ability to do so. Judging the decision’s consistency with the character/ethics of Jesus is also very important to me as well. We have been given free will by God, and there may be times when we are tempted to stray off the righteous path, but by keeping in character with the ethics of Jesus we can help ourselves to stay on that path of righteousness.
