I am writing to share my concern about the stress of financial cost and tuition in 2015 at Strayer University. Paying for college can be more stressful than getting into college — and the way schools explain their aid packages doesn’t always help. When looking for a college to further my education, I was hopeful, excited and very eager to move forward. In my research for an online university Strayer university was questionable but doable price which was $1,420. A course with extra expense for books and technology fee. After, enrolling at the University my stress has been elevated as the price is actually $1,775.00 a course and a bill statement of $5,800.00. I know that you and other college officials work to make the expense on students affordable. It seems that with multiple emails and call to the Universities financial aid department lacks the communication a student desperately needs during this transition of needing advice and help in finding funds to help with the expense.

As a community member, I know Strayer Univerisity works hard to reduce most of the exspense for students. But can you honestly after enrolling and searching other universities I have found that the expense is not as much and the financial dept will work with students to find the best budget options for each student. The cost for a higher education is a price but it should never be a regret. Appling for financial aid on time with a career that is demanding and finding a budget that will include the exspense for books.
