Skydiving, motocross, martial arts and many more, these sports have bring so many injuries and victims that we cannot even imagine. Despite casualties, these disciplines give entertainment, fun and a lot of money. Should all of them be banned? Maybe not all, but some for sure. What about boxing then?
Boxing is a very entertaining and popular sport, enjoyed by millions of people all over the world, but it is also a dangerous sport. For over one hundred years many boxers have died during or just after fights. Furthermore, numerous fighters have been damaged for life by serious injuries. Some of them where professionals and some amateurs, nevertheless, it is always the same sorrow for injured or dead person.
What is more, we need to keep in mind that boxing is unlike other sports. The main aim of it is to hurt the opponent, and knock him down. This sport reveal the worst parts of human nature. Modern, civilized person become a bloodthirsty animal that will do anything to win. One can say that it looks very exciting and cool but in my opinion violence is seriously not cool.
Boxing should be banned. There are no rational reasons to let it stay a formal sport in our modern world. Of course the best way to make it disappear is to cut founds. Boxing brings nothing except pain, blood and accidents, that sometimes ends with serious injuries or even death.
