Library System Argumentative

Nowadays, in a highly technological society, human productivity is made more efficient through the development of electronic gadgets. Now, with the advent of such modernization in education, one way to globalize the process of research is to realize that technology is advancing at an incredibly fast pace. In School, reading materials are stored in libraries. Library is a place in which books and related materials are kept for use but not for sale. It is a place in which we get information in any format and from many sources. Today, we have our Library System. Library System help us to find the books that we needed with just one click that is why finding the books that we need become easier. The Library System has many functions it includes borrowing books, returning of books, generating reports, finding books and more.

Statement of the problem
The problems that the researcher observed are focuses on borrowing and returning of books in the library. It generates the library reports to be used in documentation purposes. The researcher found this following problem:

1. In borrowing of books in the library, it takes time in just writing it down the books that the student borrowed and sometimes it produces error. 2. The manual process of borrowing and returning books makes the process slow and it consume more time.

Significance of the study

This study is to provide a better managing and security in borrowing and returning books in the library. Through this system, the transactions will be well-organized and more convenient for the student in going to library. For the students, this study will serve as a valuable references material for further studies and development.

Objective of the study
This study is to develop a computer based library system for the student in Sta. Filomena Iligan City East High School to have an easy way of
returning and borrowing out books. This system well minimizes human effort. It also helps to keep well-organized accurate borrowers and books record.

Scope and limitation
This study only limited to library of Sta.Filomena Iligan City East High School and focuses only on Borrowing and Returning of books.
