Freedom of religion is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or community, in public or private, to manifest religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship, and observance; the concept is generally recognized also to include the freedom to change religion or not to follow any religion (1). The freedom of religion is obviously a human right, but it shouldn’t be the most important into the human life, because in the past it would make many pain, and has taken millions of innocent lives, due to the negligence of fanatic religious people. One of that call “irresponsible” religious has been the Christian Science, It is practiced by members of the Church of Christ, Scientist, as well as some others who are nonmembers. They asserts that humanity and the universe as a whole are, in their true being, spiritual rather than material and that goodness and truth are real, whereas evil and error are illusory aspects of material existence. Christian Scientists believe that through prayer, knowing and understanding, all things would be possible for good through God. Namely a single and special case, when the religious principles has putting ahead of constitutional and human rights, could find the Amy’s case.

Amy was a little girl with blond hair and bubbly ways.Amy’s parents are Christian Scientist, and unfortunately, they decided to try to heal the child with prayer rather than seek a doctor’s, this situation ending with the Amy’s dead. They had better make another choose, but didn’t. Amy’s parents were scheduled to go on trial, on charges of third-degree murder and felony child abuse. They have maintained that prosecutors wanted to violate their constitutional right of religious freedom, and, that treated their daughter with proven method of healing. The Christian Scientist said that they would was doing any different thing than the medical treatment used to do. The Medical Examiner concluded that medical treatment up just hours before her death probably could have saved Amy. The legal community, said: ” The children have a right to live healthily and be brought up to make their own religious decisions “. All in all, is important say that the personal decisions should make it like individual and social people, always trying to respect the another lives and the different point of views. Last but not least, the parents ought to preserve their children lives above all.

I think they are a bit responsible for what happened to Amy. If they just went, even for an opinion, to the doctors she would still be alive. I find it so foolish to let a little girl die of diabetes, now in the 21st century. A Harvard law professor said “Children should be able to live long enough to make their own religious decision.” I totally agree with this! When we are responsible of a child’s life, God gave us that life so we can make the best of that it. Help him grow intelligent by sending him at school, help him grow with love so it can learn to love others, help him when it is sick by doing the best we can (meaning by sending it to doctors) to let him get better. And once he is big enough we should let it go on their own way hoping that we gave it everything we could so it can became a beautiful person. But if when it is sick and we don’t go see what is the matter and just sitting and disturbing God when we can do something our self is just not right! I don’t think we should punish the parents because I think they th biggest punish ever, a lost of a child. They had their punishment and a learning too, maybe next time they will be able to do something first, before it is too late!

I think that the fanatic is someone who is convinced that just believing in God and living a moral life is simply not enough. They feel compelled to engage in behaviors that demonstrate his faith. They believe that the magnitude of those behaviors must be commensurate with the strength of his faith. The more they believe, the more they have to do to show it, as a result we can see cases like Amy where the faith won to the human logic.

On the other hand, the faith is different because it means to believe on something or someone, whose qualities need not be shown but be sure is to occur. For instance, two years ago a close family member had a car accident; his life depended on a high-risk operation. My father, seeing the critical state, decided to hire a priest so he can give olios saints. My family prayed that God will guide the hands of the doctors. Our faith was so great that the operation was very effective and our family was saved. That shows how people faith with the help Of professionals are necessary to save the life of someone that we love, without harming or endangering life of ours.
