Gaius Julius Caesar was killed from twenty stab wounds during a Senate meeting in Pompey’s Theater yesterday morning. He was stabbed mostly on the back and on his chest. One of the most fatal wounds was one close to his heart, which contributed to his immediate death. He fell down and breathed his last under the statue of his once enemy, Pompey. A once immovable Northern star whose stable stable and stationary quality has no equal in the sky, light has grown dim as he is brutally murdered on the Ides of march. The officials who stabbed Julius Caesar were some of his closest friends. They were Casca, Decius, Cinna, and the most surprisingly of all, Brutus Marcus. No doubt they had planned carefully ahead. The stabbing was carried out so quickly that it took every one by surprised. Some senators present were stricken by fear and immediately fled from the meeting.

“I thought I was in my sleep and all this was but a dream,” said Senator Cicero. “Those conspirators, they gave no indication what so ever to the tragedy that was about to unfold right under my very nose.” We also found Publius fleeing from the scene he had this to say on the matter,”I was frozen with fear as the conspirators walked past me as I stood anchored to my spot on the ground the told me I had nothing to fear. That only Caesar had to pay for his ambition, with this relief I was uprooted from the marble floor and raced from the scene.” This is all we have for you on this story as of right now but we will have a follow up story tomorrow on the funeral of Cesar.

There will be a funeral held today at 12:00pm in memory of Cesar in the market place on 12th and main street. This is open to the public and will be led by Caesars nephew and good friend Mark Antony. Along with the aid of Caesars former good friend Brutus.
