Lady Gaga is doing something important focusing on bullying not only is linked to high rates of teen suicide but also because it is an obstacle to education. Bulling is more serious than we find it to be not only is it simply wrong but its also why teenagers drop out of highschool or dont focus well in class because of they scare of getting bullied. some teens are ashamed to tell someone that they are getting bullied because of they pride. from experince bullying can make an individial feel so unpowerful and less than there self, and it also infulence your school work and attendance in a bad way. the teens dont want to tell anybody because nine out of ten they are going to get bullied more for telling on the one whose doing the bullying.
what is bullying? Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. Not Knowing that they could be the cause of someones heartache or even worst the reason why someone commits suicide. Bullying is cool till someone gets hurt. like lady gaga said “The scars dont go away and when someone constantly said mean things to you about you they stick with you in your mind no matter how old you get or how long ago it was said, you know how saying “Scared for life.” however the article and lady gaga born this way Foundation is not only about bullying but also the freedom to feel free and be who you want to be without being judged. the freedom to be diffrent inside and out.
Born This Way Foundation is a good way to start a no bullying area. also because its celebrity talking to teens they would listen better than hearing it from a teacher or parent. just because she is famous, and she could relate the teens would respect her and what she is saying becuase no other teens had the opportunity to get to personally speak to lady Gaga about what she been through.
i think if the bullying situation are approached in diffrent way in a way for teens to be interested and actually listen and stop bullying or even think about it, is to do it or talk to them in a way they can relate. not always yelling at them or judging them for doing so. just be more understanding for why that teen is deciding to be a bully or accepting the bulling on a regular.
