In the last century, a technology developed rapidly and new technology brought so many benefits to humanity. Since then with the help of advanced innovation, a medical term also changed dramatically. One of the significant success in medical term is organ transplantation. Combination of advanced new technology and talented surgeons made the organ transplant possible. Since then Thousands of patients whose are suffering from organ failure and came to the end stage of losing a life got the chance to survive. However, according to the research in 2010 US (Abby, 2011) from 90,000 people on the waiting list, only 17,000 got the donor organ for the operation. It’s the same situation globally.

The huge gap between the lack of available organs and incredible demands became a universal problem Abby (2011). Despite all the efforts the government undertook to fill up the gap the pressure is still beyond belief. That issue of organ shortage gave an opportunity to the traffickers to form the illegal organ market and harm the innocent poor people. This essay is going to discuss the cause of organ trade that how the misfortunate people got trapped in this crisis and then will demonstrate how organ trade is affecting the organ receiver and donors finally will analyze some possible solution for this phenomenon.

Illiteracy and poverty are the main cause of organ trading. Permeant shortage of organ donation for patients and strict law about buying and selling the human organs in the first world country the organ recipients have been forced to choose the option of transplant tourism, therefore, it ended up by exploiting poor people in third world country. Organ trading not only have negative effects on financially, psychologically and physically to organ receiver and paid donor but also it has a gloomy effect on our society. One of the most harmful effects is on vendor’s health that linked to financing. Charles, BBC correspondent explained that donors who sold they vital organ they damaged they health also, lost a job. Lack of essential treatment and regular check-up after the operation caused serious health problems. In most conditions, they even lost the ability to do the basic work. They became an extra burden for the family. It follows that many vendors had experienced psychosomatic reactions and depression.

Furthermore, on the other hand, recipient health is also at the risk. Accordingly, most of the transplant surgeries are operated at the private for-profit hospitals. However, most of them aren’t qualified standard safety and quality care. In addition, the operation performed in not qualified facilities. For this reason, recipient and vendor always have high chance to have complications after the surgery.
