Over the years, one of the biggest debates yet has been over homosexuality. People around the world don’t all have the same perspective on this particular topic, some support it while others don’t. In the world we live in today it’s clear to see the unfair societal views placed on those of same sex partner preferences. The LGBTQ+ community is slowly gaining back their unalienable right which should have never been stripped from them in the beginning. Openly homosexual human beings should have all the rights heterosexual human beings have and desire.

Imagine simply walking down the street and hearing constant laughs or offensive words thrown at you. Imagine not being able to feel comfortable in your own skin. How would any of you who don’t support LGBTQ’s feel? Can you imagine how it’ll feel to get denied for a job all because of your sexual orientation?

Lgbtq people are not only fighting for their equal rights in court or congress but in the streets, too. Their sexual orientation always seems to be the topic of discussion. Homosexuals face a lot of discrimination with no remorse, “No federal law prevents a person from being fired or refused a job on the basis of sexual orientation” (“The Rights Of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual And Transgender People”, ACLU). Not only do they not have a law to help secure them with their jobs but they are constantly in fear of being theirself.

One of the major questions that comes from this topic is, Are people born gay or is it a learned behavior? Researchers say, “The brains of gay and heterosexual people appear to be organised differently. For example patterns of brain organisation appear similar between gay men and heterosexual women and between lesbian women and heterosexual men. Gay men appear, on average, more “female typical” in brain pattern responses and lesbian women are somewhat more “male typical”. Differences in brain organisation mean differences in psychology and study after study show differences in cognition between heterosexual and gay people” (“Gay genes’: science is on the right track, we’re born this way. Let’s deal with it”, The Guardian) A few writers will wave off the logical proof and instead want to look into the historical backdrop of sexuality or guarantee that homosexuality is a social development. Sexual orientation is an example of want, not of conduct or sexual acts fundamentally. It’s anything but a straightforward demonstration of will or an execution. We begin to look all starry eyed at men or ladies since we have gay, straight, or indiscriminate introductions and not as a result of decision. So people should quit imagining there is decision in sexual introduction. Who really ‘picks’ anything of substance at any rate?

Every year, a “pride’ parade is held world wide. A pride parade is basically an event that celebrates pride and serves a demonstration of legal rights for the LGBTQ+ communities. Most Pride parades began in mid the 1980s, the LGBTQ+ people group lived in dread. Being captured, assaulted, disparaged and let go from their activity only to be their identity out in the open was a genuine risk. This made the LGBTQ+ people group live mystery experience that some knew minimal about. However, Pride was the one time that, as a group, people could split far from that fear and commend their identity, out in the open, for only one day. It resembled a little discharge valve in an alarming time, when there was little help from their general surroundings. In the course of recent decades, as the group has increased acknowledgment for those little festivals ended up bigger. From that point forward, the quantity of partners that have held hands with the LGTBQ+ people group to help the push for equivalent rights and acknowledgment has developed significantly. Pride Month should be something beyond a festival; it should be an impetus for proceeded with help of the LGBTQ+ development. For partners of the LGBTQ+ people group, it’s critical to recognize the way that we live in a period when rights are as yet being addressed, and even removed. The fight for uniformity is still a long way from being done.
