In chapter 7- Rizal went to Paris and Germany in order to specialize in Ophthalmology, for a reason to cure his mother’s eye ailment. IN GAY PARIS After studying at the Central University in Madrid, He decided to go to Paris to acquire more knowledge in Ophthalmology. In Chapter8 BSCS GROUP II MRS. MARICAR SORIANO NOLI ME TANGERE Published in Berlin (1887) “The novel is the first impartial and bold account of the life of the Tagalogs. The Filipinos will find in it the history of the last 10 years” -Jose Rizal on Noli Me Tangere NOLI ME TANGERE Published.

In Chapter 9 After the publication of Noli, Rizal planned to visit the important places in Europe. Dr. Maximo Viola agreed to be his traveling companion. Rizal received Pacianos remittance of P1000 which forward by Juan Luna from Paris and immediately paid his debt to Viola which he loaned so that the Noli could be printed. First, he and Viola visited Potsdam, a city near Berlin. At the dawn of May 11, 1887, Rizal and Viola, two browned-skinned doctors on a roaming spree, left Berlin by train. Spring was an ideal season for travel. Their destination was in Dresden, one of the best cities in Germany.

Personal reaction;

Rizal was very generous, wise and loving his country. He has an intelligent and unique talent that not as someone else, he left his own country and move to Paris and Germany in order to specialize in Ophthalmology, for a reason to cure Teodora Alonso Mercado his mother’s eye ailment. And other reasons why Rizal move to other country is to observe keenly the life and culture, languages and customs, industries, commerce and government and laws of the European Nations in order to prepare himself in the mighty task of liberating of oppressed people from Spanish tyranny.

Rizal for me is not ordinary people he had a strong personality to fight his own sadness because of separating with his family. His life for his adventure was very excellent also, he continued the fight even he was in outside of our country. Rizal believed that can end the war without using any violence, taxation of life, and bloody battle. Using his hand to write a letter and make a book he believe that, he can open the eye’s of Spanish authority who control the Philippines during that time. Jose Mercado Alonso y Realonda Rizal was sacrificed his own life to sought achieve freedom of our country. And now all Pilipino is proud for what his done, and become national hero.
