Joint problem solving between employer and employee
Suggest a suitable procedure that an employer might use to deal with employment disputes. This procedure should be one that is capable of being incorporated into an employment contract. Trade unions.
Define what a trade union is and state the rights of an employee under section 146 Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 Employment tribunals, ACAS, staff associations
Identify the composition of an employment tribunal panel. In other words who has the authority to hear an employment tribunal case? What does occupational health screening involve?
Give examples of types of employments where potential workers may be required to undergo occupational health screening What is redundancy? Explain the provision in section 139 Employment Rights Act 1996 What type of advice would you expect when you are about to made redundant? A brief discussion of the nature of the advice and guidance you would expect to receive when subject to redundancy.
