June 3rd, 1940, Germany starts bombing campaigns on Paris. Meanwhile 8 days later, Norway falls to Germany, Italy Declares war on Britain which doesn’t make Problems easier. Sunday, December Seventh, 1941, Japanese planes surprise attack Pearl Harbor, but they just hit some battleships and cruisers, and not the repair yards or submarines, so their fleet wasn’t completely whipped out. Then, America declares war on Germany, and Japan. Britain also declares war on Japan. Then, the allies warned Stalin about it, Germany invades Russia on June 22nd.
1942, Germany reaches Moscow, they think it’s over, but no, Germans get to Stalingrad, that is where the Harshest fighting was going on. Then, it happens, it gets cold, stupidly cold, The Commanders start complaining to Hitler that their troops were having to leave their horses by the road to find their way back. And complaining that their oil in their tanks were literally freezing. But the Germans got pushed back, by Serbian troops that are meant to fight in the cold.
Russia is pushing Germany back because of the cold, and because they’re running out of supplies. In North Africa, British and American forces had defeated the Italians and Germans by 1943. An Allied invasion of Sicily and Italy followed, and Mussolini’s government fell in July of 1943.
June 6th, 1944, Operation Overlord, or commonly known as D-day, 155,000 thousand troops land on the Normandy beach. This attack was to help liberate most of France and weaken Nazi Germany. By late August 1944, all of France had been Liberated. Then, they were threatening the borders of Germany
September 2nd, 1945, Hitler commits suicide, the Japanese army Surrenders, and all occupied places are free. America and British troops find horrible things done in Nazi concentration camps. The war is over. But the Cold War will rage on and America and the Soviet Union will steal planes from each other.
