Broken Home

Good afternoon to my esteemed teacher and to all of my friends. This afternoon, I want to thank God for giving us a sunny day today, and also to ma’am Sinur who has given me the opportunity to give a speech about the broken home. First of all, I want to tell what exactly is the meaning of broken home. Broken home is a situation where there is chaos in the family, and result in psychological pressure on the victim. Parents no longer care for their children, both problems at home, school, to the social development of children in the community.

What are the causes of broken home? Broken home can occur due to the loss of a family member, and caused the family to be cold with each other. Could also be due to circumstances that are not harmonious parents constantly fight until the end in divorce. Or perhaps because of the lack of attention from parents who are too busy working so that children feel lonely at home and trying to find pleasure outside. I’ll tell you some other factor that is the cause of the broken home.

1. Poverty 2. Parents who lack a sense of responsibility 3. Educational problems 4. Away from God What is the negative impact of broken home? In the environment, the child will feel ashamed and embarrassed to the people around him because of the condition of his parents who were in a state of Broken Home. At school, besides to be gossip around friends, children’s learning process is also disrupted because his mind is not concentrated into a lesson. The child will be quiet and tends to be a solitary child and dreamy.

The thoughts and negative images such as blaming fate made his family like that. As if there is no confidence in the religious life ingrained since birth and others. Mental stress is affects the psychological that can lead to stress and frustration even a child could end his life by suicide. Children can fall into negative things like smoking, drinking (alcohol), drugs, promiscuity, and even free sex.

And what positive effects of broken home? I don’t know. I think there is no positive impact. Because a broken home in general just makes the victim depressed. How to avoid the negative effects of broken home? In my opinion, the things that can keep us from the negative effects of broken home are: 1. Don’t feel shy and insecure to a friend because you’re having broken home 2. Try to confide in with the people closest to you about your problem, it’ll make you feel better 3. Come closer to God

4. Vent disappointment with the positive things. If you love music, make a song about how you feel. Or you can take it out with the singing. If you love to dance, dance till you forget about your problems 5. If you have a problem, don’t run. try to deal with your problem 6. Listen to music. Believe me, music can make people feel better, and your mind becomes Rilex.

For example, christina aguilera, this talented young singer was the victim of a broken home. she admits she still feel a deep trauma of violence by her father. but, now because of the music, she can make her trauma slowly disappeared and have started to forgive the mistakes of her father. So I think that’s the speech that I can say about the broken home. I hope my speech can be useful for all of us. If you have friends or relatives who have broken home, let’s help them run for a better life! Tell them to never give up because I believe everything in life happens for a reason!
