When we watch news on television and hear stories like a 38-year old mother gave birth to octoplets, we actually get curious and watch the whole report. It is a complete different story when we hear a 15-year old teenage girl pregnant with her boyfriend. Actually this kind of story is not included in the news often but only in documentaries because it is always happening around us. People nowadays consider it as the norm. We tend to think that this is only happening because they cannot control their feelings. In fact, guidance is what a teenage girl needs to prevent this kind of situation. Early Pregnancy is a serious problem for teenagers. Teenagers who are pregnant cannot usually support the child on their own. Early Pregnancy can have various possible reasons. It poses a lot of negative consequences to the mother as well as her child. There are many teenagers today who are having premarital sex and not taking any precautions needed to protect their self against pregnancy. When they do get pregnant there are many consequences, big decisions, and great responsibilities.

Growing up in this day and age we have seen many girls who become pregnant and are acting as if pregnancy is fashion show. The girls are acting as if pregnancy is a joke and forgets that they are carrying a human being and that it’s going to change their life forever. Whenever they realize the reality of the situation it’s already too late for them. Adolescent Pregnancy, also known as Teenage Pregnancy is the period where teenage girls are at a stage where their mind is undeveloped and carry around a fetus in their uterus. There are many difficulties in being pregnant. Most girls who become pregnant as a teen is because when they’re in a relationship, they consider themselves “in love”, which leads them to having fantasies of being “together forever” with their significant partner, and eventually fall into the enchantment of having sex without a contraceptive. Others end up being in a situation where they get raped, and others simply just want to have a baby when they don’t know about the consequences they’ll go through, but when they do end up having a newborn, they face and understand the impacts and obstacles in their new life.
