Order NowThere are all types of professional athletes. From Football to baseball to basketball to gymnastics and to many more. One thing that runs in all sports is definitely impacts. Everybody has their own favorite athletes, someone who they look up to or praise for their skills.
Simone Adrianne Biles was born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio. Her biological parents were Shanon Biles and Ronald Biles. She and her sister were later put under the care of her grandparents Nellie and Ronald Biles in 2001 due to her mother having substance abuse problems and being unable to care for her and her four siblings. They were all in and out of foster care as children.
Miss Biles began gymnastics at the young age of 6 due to an unexpected field trip to a gym. She was a level 8 gymnast when she began to compete in 2007. She started gymnastics in 2013. zFrom that point on she went on to winning 20 professional competition medals. Simone is known as one of the most decorated American gymnasts to ever live. Simone Biles currently holds the record for most won medals with 25 World Championship medals and 19 being gold. A lot of professional gymnasts do homeschooling due to all the training and work they need to put into their sport. In this case, Simone did homeschooling from the 8th grade to highschool.
I picked to do my writing on Simone Biles because to me she is truly an amazing athlete. Not only is she impeccable in the sport of gymnastics but she also had a huge impact on the sport and the world. Back in 2018, former gymnastics USA team doctor was charged with child pornography and molestation. Over 330 gymnasts had an encounterment with Larry, Simone Biles was one of them. She later wrote on Twitter ‘Please believe me when I say it was a lot harder to first speak those words out loud than it is now to put them on paper, for too long I’ve asked myself, ‘Was I too naive? Was it my fault?’ I now know the answers to those questions. No. No, it was not my fault. No, I will not and should not carry the guilt that belongs to Larry Nassar, USAG, and others.’ Her tweet later encouraged others to come forward against the USA Gymnastics Committee.
In conclusion, based off of this information Simone Biles has definitely made her mark on the sport of gymnastics. She has been through so much her whole life but that does not stop her from accomplishing her goals. I believe she is not finished yet and will go on to accomplish more things and set more world records.
