Research by Cesar Chavez

Today was sunny 77°F, it was a great day to do my research on Cesar Chavez, for my cultural project for Spanish 1, Professor Kemp’s class. The first website I visited for this cultural project was the bibography.com which is great for looking up famous’s people biography, which is why it was one of the first website recommended when I searched “Cesar Chavez.” The second website I visited was notablebiographies.com, there are a lot of biography website when I searched “Cesar Chavez.” The third website I went to is the history.com which was own by the history channel, and known for showing all history related, and it is a great source to read for the biography of Cesar Chavez.

The fourth website I went to is the chavez.cde.ca.gov which is the .gov website, means it is run by governments and it will always have true facts because governments ran the website and they knows a lot more than us regular people. This was the last website I visited because I believe I got enough information to write about Cesar Chavez’s biography. Most of them are similar but I had to read each website to spot the differences because some of the websites, the information will repeat and some will have new information about him.

Which is why it is better to use different website and try to find much information about him, since he is one of the famous public figures, it was easier to find information about Cesar Chavez. The most time I spend on a website is at chavez.cde.ca.gov because I felt like it had a lot more information on his early life than other websites. On chavez.cde.ca.gov website, it talks about how he lives his earlier childhood life and how he is and why he is the way he is because of how his early life affected him. The other website I visited was good resources as well, but the one I used the most was chavez.cde.ca.gov, and it is easy to find as well. You can just search “Cesar Chavez biography” on google and it would be the 4th website listed on there.

I believe other website are more popular because of the advertisement and mostly known for other things as well, for example history.com , and biography.com they both are known for other things, not just about Cesar Chavez, on biography.com you can search for any famous people on there and they would likely to have it there and history.com you can search all kinds of history related things there, which is why they are more popular than the chavez.cde.ca.gov which is dedicated just for Cesar Chavez’s life.
